    Drip Rings On Whoopies?

I ordered a set of 6' whoopies today to swap out the stock suspension on my NX-150. By the way I ordered them and about 2hours later got a E-mail they had been shipped, can't beat that. I'm wondering if everyone uses drip rings of some sort or if you have other hardware that stays under your tarp? I planxto run the whoopies through the channel and back through the tag end so if I don't use my rings will it wick to the hammock

I loop the loose end of my whoopies back over the line, which aides as a drip line for me.

Like Joe says, I've let the tail of the whoopie sling act like a drip line too. I carry a couple of strips of cloth in my stuff sack and the intent is to tie them close on the whoopie sling close to the end of the hammock to act as a drip path in a heavy rain. I've never used them, have never had rain wick into the hammock either but I still carry them.

Ditto on the tail as drip line. Seems to channel any moisture down and away from the hammock.

That sounds like a winner. I had hoped to save a little weight by changing out to whoopies but being able to eliminate the aluminum drip rings is great.
