Mountains to Sea trail near blowing rock

I am looking for someone who is familiar with the Mountains to Sea trail between Linville Gorge and Blowing Rock. This is a last minute plan for me but it looks like I may be able to sneak out of the office next wed, thurs, and fri and would like to hike into blowing rock on the MTS, I just don't know where is realistic to start from and how easy the trail is to follow through this area. Any suggestions? I am in good shape and covering 15 miles a day should be no problem if the trail is well marked.

Any suggestions?

I have been on parts of the MTS in the gorge, wilsons creek, and price park but have not been hiking in any of these areas in the last 2 years.

Looking at a map I may start at Roseboro road and hike north to Blowing Rock.
