If all the shuttle people show up them we have enough shuttle vehicles. You will want to leave your car camping gear at the campground.

Does anyone know what the availability of wood is for the campground? I can throw some pinyon in the pickup when I come if we need it.
Love your enemies, but keep your gun oiled!
I am a CONCENTRATED vegetarian. I let the cows eat all the grass, and then I eat the cows!
So just to sum up the info presented so far:
July 7-9 is the group hang at Jefferson Creek camp ground
July 10 is when the hike starts
July 14 is the projected end date
Correct?
Count me as a strong possible for the group hang (though I'm still a ground dweller for now)!

I'd like to suggest we all meet at Walking Bears site (#12 Jefferson Lake CG) Friday,
time TBD and drive over as a group to drop vehicles in Frisco.
Locals- If you have access to firewood and can bring some for the group hang please do.
I will bring some. No jokes Grant the pulk is staying home. haha (inside joke)

I can't believe ground fires are being permitted currently. You better check on current restrictions before you get too worried about having firewood. Stage 2 restrictions currently in effect. Can't find anything specific for Jefferson County, but Douglas county allows liquid fueled stoves during Stage 2, so hopefully we can use our alcohol stoves.

I was going to ask about that. This sounds good.
Also, I-25 at Raton Pass is currently closed due to smoke, so anyone coming from the South will need to find another way. Hopefully the fires effecting this are put out before the hang and it reopens.

For me it depends on finances, I am currently in the last steps of being medically discharged from the Army. I wont be working in that time frame thanks to terminal leave, but money is kinda tight.
If I am able to show I'll bring as much wood as i can.
Hi Trailrider42,
When we were there this passed weekend fires were allowed in the campground.
Open fire bands are well marked if there are any in a month.

Isheian, If you can't make this one there will always be the next.
