    Talking I Finally Did It!!!

Just put in an order yesterday for an 11'X10' 4 season tarp from OES. Ever since my brother got an MC Deluxe last year I've been envious. Really looking forward to getting my hands on it. Up until this point I've been using painter's plastic for my tarp. It's worked out OK but I'm looking forward to "retiring" my old plastic. Maybe I'll bring her along as a ground sheet under my hammock, who knows? Hopefully she's not the jealous type. I don't think I've been this excited since i was a kid.

I will def. be posting pics of my rig when I get it set up. In the meantime I've got to start knocking things off my honey-do list so I can actually get out in the woods when I get the thing.

I got my OES Standard while I was gone to the Birkhead hang last weekend. Can't wait to get back out and try it. I have used alot of tarps and this is one of the better detailed I have seen. I also like that the stuff sack actually fits it.

Not me GOLFER... although a thru hike on the AT is on my bucket list.

Edit: noticed you said section hike, while a thru hike would be awesome, a section hike is probably a little more realistic.
