Hello all! I am one of those guys that have been lurking for a while, sucking up as much info as I can. As with a lot of you, I am getting a little older, and the rocks on the ground seem to be getting bigger and bigger. ( I have found they move as well ). I have been camping and backpacking as long as I can remember and have always had a fondness for the woods. Winter is by far my favorite season, and what got me into this is YouTube. It was mid December and about 20 degrees or so, and I had a NF mountain 25 set up on my deck so I could at least feel like I was in the piney woods. I came indoors to pee (Well I was on my deck and had work the next day ) and started to search on the internet for winter camping and the like. Well, I saw this video with some guy from Minnesota that was camping in -26 degree weather, in a HAMMOCK! I guess you all know what I thought, who is this crazy %&#@%! I found a few more of Shug' video's and then subscribed to his channel, from there, heard about this forum, the rest as they say is history! Thanks to all of you who contribute so much knowledge, ingenuity and especially the craftsmanship demonstrated by the vendors on this site. My hats off to you guys!
