    Hello from SC

Hello All. I just received my wbbb 1.7 dl yesterday and totally love it. I cannot wait to actually camp with it. I am new to hammocks and to camping. I would appreciate feedback/advice on my choices for my gear. I have a limited budget, so I don't want to consider more expensive gear. Many of my items will be from ebay.

    1. WBBB DL 1.7
    2. Warbonnet Superfly
    3. http://gossamergear.com/sleeping/1-4-wide.html
    4. http://www.usoutdoorstore.com/outlet...fhu=3137393139
    5. Marmot Minimalist synthetic sleeping bag
    6. Black Diamond Sprinter rechargeable headlamp (12 bucks on ebay)

I like the Osprey Aether because of the separate sleeping bag compartment and I have tried it on. To me, this is a very comfortable pack.
I also like the Golite sale going on.

You have some great choices there! Looks like you are on your way to a nice gear collection! The only thing that would be wrong with these choice would be if it didn't work for you somehow, although I doubt it.

Warbonnet has some popular, well made, well endorsed hammocks and tarps. I can't say enough about the Superfly for fowl weather / 4 season hammocking!

The GG pad is also highly rated, and has me considering picking one up. My Z rest has lasted forever though. If/when it ever becomes unserviceable, I think the GG pad will be it's replacement.

Toss a stove of some sort in there and you are ready to go! Head out, take some pics, post a trip report (with pics!) and enjoy!

    Welcome to the hammock/camping world!!

Welcome from Irmo, SC. Check out the recent thread for the Goat Island hang on Lake Greenwood. Great opportunity for you to meet other hangers, check out some other setups, find more ways to spend your $$$, and enjoy a great weekend. Have any questions, shoot me a PM !
