I have the LCD bacpac, and I highly recommend you invest in it. The ability to playback shots is worth it alone IMO. I haven't field tested it yet, but with playing around it gives the camera unlimited potential. They also fixed a bunch of bugs with a firmware update. If nothing else, I would download and install the update, if you haven't already, because they fixed the infamous 9999 bug, and corrected the yellowing you get in low light. Makes it a much better video camera now.

I posted an early vid on youtube...but I don't like how it changes vid quality when you upload. it's a shame, because it's more convenient to upload there. the software I use (Sony Vegas) can upload directly there. vimeo requires an extra step.
