Thank you for adding this line under the 200-225lbs, "You can also step up to the double 1.7 if you want but there will be little gain in comfort and support by doing so."

It helped me finalize my decision on a Double 1.1 Traveler this morning. The Traveler is ordered and the debating game is now over.

Hum I may be putting some hammocks up for sale soon now with that new information. I have a Traveler and a WBBB dlb 1.7 and am now realizing I could of and probably gone 1.1. Hum. Any ways thanks for the information, much more informative then the way it was before.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

    One Link down

    Hey there, Brandon,

In looking at the page I find the link to:

    "spe or (segmented-pad-extender)"

is inactive. I'm interested in your recommendation for SPEs.

To my knowledge, the only SPE commercially available was the original Speer one, which is now no longer in production. But if you do a search here on the forums, there are at least a handful of people who have made their own, and I think I remember some of them detailing directions and such.
