Used mine this weekend, can't see the setup good, but I loved the massive size compared to what I am used to. Everything got wet during a recovery operation of a couple of flipped canoers so everything is drying out including my pad. Wish I wouldn't have forgotten my camera or else I would have gotten better pics.

Yes, I use it all the time.

i just got mine last weekend ... i ordered two ... i have been adding the center tie-outs for a ridgeline and just made up a bunch of self-tensioning guy lines. set it up for the first time yesterday in porch mode on my front patio. i'm pretty psyched ... it's so much bigger than the stock HH summer tarp i've been using ... and for 20 bucks? it's a no brainer. seems well made. at first i didn't like the white (with a tinge of green) color ... i prefer more earthy colors ... but it's growing on me.

I just ordered three of them the other day, one for me and two for a friend. I suspect my main use for it will be for group hangs where rain is expected so everyone can commune together.

What are you guys using to seam seal these things? And with the ridge line tie outs you're sewing on, are you reinforcing them? Also when pitched so doors can be shut, is this possible with the tie outs it comes with on the edges, or are the corner tie out to close to the ones next to it, so that it would have to be pitched super steep to close the doors fully?

The seams are factory taped (PU tape), no need to seal. I did reinforce my tie out loops. It's not super steep with the doors fully closed.

Bought mine from Sportsman's guide this week, $19.97 + nearly $9 shipping...

If you look, bargain outfitters looks exactly like sportsman's guide... including products... hmmm....

Bargin Outfitters is Sportsman's Guide. I have seen the same item at both sites with a lower price at BO and lower shipping too. Buyer beware.

I received one of these also. I haven't tried it out yet but by looking at some of the pics, if you wanted to, could you double this up and use a asym tie out and use as a smaller tarp if wanted/needed? Sometimes places are a little tight or you just don't want to feel that..."covered".

Received my tarp last week, and haven't pull it out of the bag yet. I was reading a review, and noticed that someone mentioned that it does not have center pull outs. So, HF... are you adding center pull outs or running a ridgeline underneath tree to tree? I was thinking of adding center pulls with some 1.5 RS I have left over, just wondering how to so it correctly? I assume you need to add a drip line as well.
