So, I'm 30yrs old, married to an outstanding woman for 7 years, and have been blessed with two boys. I am Active Duty U.S. ARMY as an 88M( Truck Driver, Bullet Magnet, I.E.D. Finder.) When not deployed I live in El Paso, Tx.
I enjoy Computers, Camping, Hikeing, Fishing, Reading, Cooking, Fixin' Stuff, and just about anything D.I.Y. related.
I guess I'm here because I used to own a HH Jungal Hammock that belong to my Grand Father when he was in the service. The reason I say "used to own" is I fell through it about two weeks ago while on a mission. Not fun after 11+ hours on the road and was ready for sleep. I got in it, layed there for a few minutes, shifted to my side when it split, and I was taste testing Iraqi dirt unvoluntarily. It had a small hole in it that I had not gotten to mending yet.
I've come to realise that most of the hammocks that I like, that are in the style I had are a bit pricey and more than what I can afford. Currently I have my wife looking in the wally world bargain bin for RSN so I can make a new hammock.
I'm also here because while I was looking for a way to replace my Dearly Departed HH I came across tothewoods.net . Just Jeff Mentions this site many times and I figure maybe I could learn some new stuff from here as well.
