Thanks for the heads up. Will take a look at it next time I'm in WW. Looks like it may work well for a kids hammock. Asymetrically, it is 8' 7".

Hmm...i think i'll get a few to play with for the money if they don't work out oh well...no big deal
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
I just picked up the tarp today and I was looking at but didn't get the pack cover. I need to look at the reciept but I thought the tarp was around $5.00. It looks like it would be nice to have in an emergency kit. I also got the small day pack that is compressed in a pouch that is about the same size as that tarp.

i was just in wm a few hours ago and noticed the day pack and the tarp didnt get ether as they seemed to small.

That little pack they sell for about 5 bucks is excellent..good webbing..from a small ball it unfolds to a nice little daypack, I put a miniture carabiner on the "now" sternum strap loop end and it carries nicely on my back. makes for another huge external pocket on the back of my golite pinnacle..

I just picked up one of these to use as an asym tarp for my daughters setup. Will likely last her a couple of years before she grows out of it, then my next daughter will be old enough to put in the small setup as we upgrade Shelby's if it lasts long enough to get both of my daughters through their early years of camping it will be well worth the money.

I tried it out and I stayed dry in a short downpour. Rain coming straight down and in a Skeeter Beater and an Ultralite. A couple nights later one of the grommets pulled out. So I sewed on some webbing and have been good to go for 5 days. I will eventually get a tarp with more coverage and a similar weight, but for now it will work for my ultralite setup.

I made the Hammock for my Daughter, it's like 6' long and 40" wide, and fits fantastic under this tarp. I will likely remove the grommets and replace them with grosgrain tie outs before we hit the woods.
It's been raining for 5 days here, so no pics as of yet, but the hammock is really cool. They look funny when they are that small.
