welcome to planet earth no one gets out alive
Great job! I have spring break, so I'm starting my 2nd tarp and my pack today. The color is great looking - I'm thinking of doing my tie out's in a navy blue or a green, but not sure. It didn't look like you reinforced your tie outs - is this correct?
I'd like to do the cat cuts, but not sure I'm up for trying to fold and sew those cats.
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.
Nothing like hanging under something that you made for yourself!!!!!

did you use a rolled seam foot for the cat cuts sewing? nice work by the way
Trout: I didn't reinforce my tie outs. I did a test on some scrap and I couldn't get it to rip out the corner and I didn't have the rolled hem on the scrap. I think that they will weather just fine. As to the cat cuts they do take more work, but more so in the making the template and cutting them out. I found that the pinning and sewing were just as tedious on my straight sided Grizz Beak I made to day as the cat cuts were.
Nick: I didn't use a special foot. I just folded it over and pinned in the seam allowance. Then sewed it up.
