    Moonlight, campfire and coffee

I tried to get my Posse to campout lastnight with me, but they are still abit skittish since they saw the game pictures of the cyotes in the pasture.
So, Baby Daddy (Me) was able to have some quiet time last night.

My HH Desert Rat and a Chinook Tarp.

And as daylight broke, Tristan was the first visitor to my camp. Of course he brought down his "Red Ryder" he said just in case he saw a "wolf'es".

Then Tristan had to give me a "how to" on cooking oatmeal.

By now sister had woke up and came down,,,, (I think Baby Momma sent her so she could sleep in)

    And Sister's new campimg boots........

And a week of Spring Break to go........

Looks like a piece of paradise. So good to see kids outdoors. Beats video games. Thanks for sharing.

I have a HH desert rat too. I'm not sure if it is the tan bug screen or what, but I tend to get really claustrophobic in it. I often get an overwhelming desire to get out of it.

Do you ever get that feeling? How do you like it?

i loved seeing the pictures of the kids so comfortable "in camp."
You have created a beautiful space, in the woods and in the hearts of these kids. Increasingly they are going to limit how much alone time you have there! These are some lucky kids, to have parents who give them such precious gifts and knowledge of themselves and the outdoors.
