Hi, missed your first post somehow. Glad to hear from ya! No, I don't think we have real count yet. 26 voters in the poll but I doubt all those people will be coming. It would be nice if they did, though.

All my extra cash went to the oral surgeon. Had to get a wisdom tooth cut out. Gonna be hard to recoup for it. And I almost had the cash to go.

It's still a month and a half away, are you sure you won't be able to go SL?

We might be getting a really good contract at work that will give me a ton of overtime. If we land that one, I'll have plenty of cash to go. I really want to be part of this. And hopefully the overtime doesn't run into June. It will really put a damper on this year's camping plans if I can't take off. I'll just say it's still to sketchy to commit. (keeps fingers crossed)

    Raffle for Oregon Group Hangers

Working on a raffle for the Opal Creek hang, with all monies raised going to benefit the Hammock Forums. If you know any hammock related business that would like to donate prizes (or you have some yourself), please let me know. I will post later with confirmed companies offering prizes. Win/win all 'round

also-- is there a specific trail / trailhead or camp area we are going to hang?

i've never been there, so do not know what to expect.

anyone have a kml or gpx file or topo link to a spot that can accommodate our group?
