If someone wants to throw together a map for those of us who don't know exactly where it is we will be going and parking at, that would be great too. Thanks.

Silverlion -- OH, ouchy! I hope you do recover! That is just no fun at all!

I'm sure I can find something to donate for a raffle, too! I'll contact you, bigfoot2, a bit closer to the event.

Some how I keep missing posts in this thread, grrr. Anyway, a raffle sounds like a great idea! I can throw in some Amsteel products like whoopie slings, soft shackles, suspension extensions, continous loops, tarp/hammock ridgelines etc.

Unless somebody knows the area enough to already know a spot that will hold all of us, we will have to scout it out before the hang. I wouldn't mind just going not knowing where we will camp until we get there but I assume others would like to know ahead of time? I know for an absolute fact there are enough trees and space, though! We could plan a day hike or a small weekend hang in the next few weeks.? I would like to know what you guys think.

Notice there is a google maps link at the bottom of the page.

Don't forget to bring extra long tree huggers or suspension extensions for this trip, the trees up there are BIG!

Oh yeah, it would be nice to start a list of who is coming as well as the maybes. Maybe we should make up a spreadsheet?

i may be able to donate a Breeze (te-wa summer uq) but may not be in attendance in person (only in spirit?) since i'll be studying algebra whilst you all are out having a good time.

*end of May: i'm taking family to disney in orlando, then to richmond for a couple days. i have to miss my first 2 days in summer algebra (which is a college level, accelerated class), so missing a day that very next week is out of the question.
i'll do a custom Breeze maybe in hot pink and purple, just for Bigfoot.

    Actual e-mail from Hennessy Hammocks:
"Hi, Matt - thanks for the invite! I'll forward it to Tom. I am not sure if he can come but I am sure he will want to donate a hammock.

    Best regards,
