nope. Never touch the stuff. Hot drinks make me overheated unless there is snow on the ground.

I drove over to the Coast today, and managed to check out where Rison Creek rd left 34. Also went past Grand Central. Ate lunch at the resort on Bayshore, shopped a bit with the wife in Newport, and drove home. Now I am certain of where everything is.

See you at Noon on Friday.

I am a coffee drinker. I was contimplating bringing my Moka pot, but if you're bringing a french press no need. I'll bring some coffee

By the way, my wife may be coming with me, I haven't gotten a commitment either way. She's a fair weather camper, so if the forecast gets better she'll probably come, but if it stays looking rainy I'll likely be making the trip solo.

Anyone need a ride from eugene on saturday morning? I have 1 extra seat in my truck and plenty of space for gear. I could also act as a gear shuttle if others are packed into a car without a lot of gear room.

I am really looking forward to this weekend. I'm cooking up some spaghetti and Beef Stew to dehydrate (Bablefish5 style), so I might have a little extra to share.
I am also going to try to stop by Redden Marine and pick up some Zing-It and Amsteel to bring, in case anyone wants to "play with stuff" while there. (I love the fact that everyone orders stuff from there from around the world, and the place is less than a mile from my house).

Looking forward to meeting everyone. Bat and I will be there Saturday.
    Save me some coffee!

You're welcome to join us for lunch in Waldport at noon at the Grand Central pizza place before the hike.
