Hey Spire! Welcome! I spent alot of time at Arifjan back in 04. I sure wish that I had a hammock back then. Would have been ALOT better than sharing a GP medium with 7 other guys. I am quickly finding out that the people here on this forum are just the best. Be safe!

Blackhawkgeo: well, now there are open bay barracks here in Zone 6. You don't go to the tents unless your about to redeploy. I use a hammock when we go up north to Iraq to pull out equipment. Some of the transient tents there aren't very clean.

I just got the hammock in today. I am beside myself with it. Thank you Texron and PapaSmurf for your generosity. I'm going to do a test hang with it later tonight. I'll get pictures with it up then.
