    I was just happy to chat. She was friendly but ultimately had more campers to check in. She had to stop a couple from using their metal detector right before visiting with us. It's illegal in the State Parks.

    Sorry, been on vacation and just saw this... yes, the trail winds through the blow downs and we lost the trail after stepping over one. The fire really wiped out the trees, and there's a lot of debris still strewn about. It's like getting to a little oasis once you find the water tree though.
