I'm making the pleats as we speak, you are correct, a St. Patty's Day kilt first, and then a hiking kilt afterward, but both will be used and worn while hiking. I'm excited about this project as kilts are expensive. Wish me luck!

Here Jess volunteered to tack the pleats so we didn't have to worry about them getting messed up as I work it.
What I did while I waited for her to finish tacking the pleats.
