1.9 is fine. I have a good number of nights in my 1.9 and I go 285.

i've now become a cottage industry for my buddies and their ever growing need for gear. my wife brings things to me to sew because she doesn't know how to use it. the other day i found myself flicking channels and stopped on martha for a brief moment until i realized what the hell i was doing. i guess i'm no longer a closet sewer. maybe if i wear a kilt while sewing it'll be more fitting.

Thanks dude. But, I got it for 3.50 a yard with free shipping from ebay lady. I've heard some good things about her stuff.

This is her e-mail. [email protected]

Just tell her you're from the forums and if you order 1-10 yards, shipping is $5.00. 11 or more it's free.

Am I reading this right ..... 1.9 is good for 285 lbs.? I thought I saw in Warbonnets chart that a 1.9 "double layer" was rated for 400 lbs.
I'm so out of shape ......I passed gas yesterday and pulled a muscle!

The the ratings for manufacturers have to be very conservative. But the strength is pretty good. I have and a good number of the bigger guys have had no problem using 1.9oz.
