Built my first hammock, it's great. Sorry no pics. I was wondering if there was anyone in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area that wants to do a hang in the near future. I would like to do a weekend hang at state park or anyplace.

There's a couple of us around here that might be interested. Would have to work it in around our Scout troop's monthly campouts and training hikes for long hike this summer.
Any place in particular that you are thinking of? North (Ray Roberts) or South (Joe Pool) or something else?

I was thinking Dinosuar Valley down in Glen Rose.
There are a few others that would like to do a hang. This will be my first so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I was thinking ,maybe the weekend of Feb. 22-24 or the first weekend in March.
My 2 oldest kids are ready to try to hang, but I'll bring a tent for them just in case. I to am a fellow scouter, been with the same troop for 30 years now.
