    Spinn Edge on the way

Just ordered an Edge tarp in Spinn UL. I'll be happy to see what all the fuss is about with this material. I think this tarp is a perfect compromise of size and weight. I'm anxious to see how well it packs down. It should compliment my new GT Nano with whoopies and tree huggers nicely. Should be right around a pound for hammock, suspension, and tarp with rigging. A couple more ounces for a PapaSmurf bugnet, and I'll be set.

I have one made of sil that I really like. It is a great size 3 season tarp. I'm sure you will be happy with yours.

That's the plan. I should have everything except for the bugnet in by then. I'm pretty hopeful it won't get buggy between now and then.

I spent the past 45 minutes making up some mason line whoopies for guylines to use on this. Pretty light, and seem very strong. I used the neon yellow stuff from Home Depot. I'm going to try using it for a two line ridgeline as well, using prussiks for adjustment and size 0 s-biners to connect it back to itself. Once the tarp gets in I'll rig it up and get pics and post here.

    any pic's yet?

I'd like to see that GT nano under the edge.

I have an edge in spinn and i like it A little crinkly in the beginning but mellows out w/ some use. Nice size.
