    Tarp Question

    Hey everybody...
I've decided to pick up a MacCat Deluxe tarp in SilNylon. Apparently he has the ability to make one for me in grey, black, coyote brown and royal blue. Is there an inherent advantage in any particular color - ie) dark versus light colors? I guess that would translate into grey vs coyote. Not interested in black or blue. Thanks for the advice!

The main advantage to a darker tarp is the ability to stealth camp. I would go with coyote brown or black if I were you. Either way you'll have a beautiful tarp that will last a long time as long as you take care of it.

yea, it is a personal choice...
For me, grey tarps are most gloomy. Believe it or not, black seems much better (again , for me). Blue? blue just never seems to fit in the back country!
given those choices, coyote brown...hands down!

How many pullouts do you think I ought to have put on a deluxe. SHOULD I have them done? Also, What do you think about the ridgeline loops. Are they nice to have? I've never seen one of these tarps in person, so I can't make the best call unaided.

Thanks for all your advice! I really appreciate it!
