    Clarks Jungle - North

Just looked online at the Clarks North Hammock. That looks warm. Anyone use this hammock yet? It states 4 season..

Any Hammock can be four season with the proper insulation. I have had my NA down to 20 on the deck, 30 on the trail. I use an exped mat for bottom insulation.

I also own a Hennesy and I just prefer the features of the Clark better. Here is a pic of my trip this past weekend in White Oak Canyon and Cedar Creek in Shenandoah National Park.

Y, yes I have and I like it!

I have the Clark North American and Nx250, a Hennessy Safari, a Grand Trunk UL and a Speer. Any can be very warm when equipped properly. I would try several hammocks before you plunk down your cash. Find the one that is most comfortable then outfit it for winter use. It does not matter if it is a $ 40.00 or a $400.00 hammock it must be comfortable or you'll squirm all night long and every toss and turn can let in the cold. For me the NX250 with a DIY underquilt and topquilt was quite nice in single digits. I feel the one true advantage to the Clarks is the weather shield it works BIG TIME, I was truly shocked how much warmth they hold in. They work so well that I an thinking of making some sort of Gortex like cover for my HH

Whether trail or paddle don't you know
My hammock is the way to go
There peace and solitude I find
To ease all troubles from my mind
Both body and soul revel in delight
As day surrenders to inky night

Unfortuantely I live in an area that all I can try is a hennessy.. So trials are outof the question. Unless someone lives in the DFW area that has one I can try out..

I'm going on a trip with the scouts this weekend. I have a CJH NX150, and a WBBB 1.1dl. I will be taking the NX150 with JRB Mt.W4 UQ, and No Snivler TQ.
With the over cover the CJH is just above all the rest for the cold.
