    Make to order projects

Hi all. I just wanted to put out there that I am available and willing to both make things to order and repair gear as well. Stuffsacks, reptile skins.., hats, beanies, mittens, pack repairs, tarp mods. No down, that is over my head. I am also pretty good at fixing knitted items that have holes and are coming unravelled.
This is not a business for me, I have a fulltime job; it's just a way to bring in a little extra money. Thanks

ps. I have made a few items for members here already.

pps. Mods, if this is out of line, move or remove accordingly

I have an orange MSR tent with some rot/tear on the fly. Is this something you can fix and color match?

I would have to see the damage, but a patch seems like the answer if the area is large. Matching color depends on how and where I can get the material. If I found it new, it might be brighter than a fly that has some sun bleaching. So I guess it depends on how much you want it to look good. I can seam seal the patch, so that it would be functional

I'd be interested in a set of those. Do you have a sample pic by any chance?

BTW, I think this is a great offering! Very cool.

    hey MG,
i used the no-see-um mesh "skins" you made for my superfly this weekend. they made set up super quick. thank you. your craftspersonship is mighty fine.
i'm taking some measurements for a couple of other projects i want you to make.
i also want you to make me a small utility bag for various junk. an 8" long closed ended cylinder with a zipper and some handles (similar to a purse).
    i'll send you a PM.
    thanks again,

Do/could you switch side pockets out on a pack. For example, I have a swift six moons designs. It has mesh pockets on both sides. Is their a way to detach them and sew on dynema pockets with a draw string closure around the top like the OHM?
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

I will have to look at pictures of the packs, but it does not sound too complicated. Let me weather this nasty storm we are in the middle of today. Lots of drains backing up and fallen branches. I will be offline till tonight. Hopfully no power outage. ( I like weather, all kinds.....wind, well )
    later.

Hey guys - just wanted to post that yesterday I received a set of tarp skins and a ridgeline organizer that Mountain made for me. I couldn't be more pleased with the cratsmanship and speedy turnaround. Highly recommended.

    Thanks Mountain!
