Camping tonight just inside the ANF boundary north of route 66 (salmon creek) to get jump on the day tomorrow. Day 2 & 3 may be combined.. So may be at Minister Sunday.

day 1. (Saturday night.) 14 miles (camp just before Kellettville Campground) keeping it "stealth"

day 2. 12.5 miles (camp near the camp site marked on the map a mile or so before crossing fire road 116)

day 3. (Sunday nignt) 7.3 miles (camp at Minister Creek/Triple Forks) my favorite place in the ANF

day 4. (monday night) 14.7 (camp around the camp site marked off of Brookston Rd/948) or some where between 666 & 948

day 5. (tuesday night) 17.3 (or less) camp around Fox's Dam

day 6. (wednesday night) 13.8 miles (camp past route 321) near reservoir where the trail starts to head north on Hemlock Run

day 7. (thursday night) 13.5 miles (stealth camp near Handsome Lake Campground)

day 8. (friday night.. camp somewhere on Tracy Ridge) 9.4 miles (hike to NY border, backtrack to came site, or hit the cars saturday)

102.5 miles (from my rough estimate according to the map)

if anyone wants to meet up and hike part of the trail with us all are welcome. The North Country Trail Rats

Well were all home I took too big of bite to chew , The miles did my feet in swollen with blisters all over the bottom , I tip over when trying to stand on my feet. I will stick to my lower mile days especially climbing them Alleghany mountains. Thanks Scott & Tammy for the rescue . Again blueblaze sorry for letting you down.
