Here are some pics of the NCT by Ludlow Pa around foxes dam from today March 20. That 5th pic shows a blue steel bridge, the north country trail goes over that bridge, we took the pics from the beach. Fox's dam is a deep part of the creek, sort of a natural dam of rocks and deep water make it a great swimming hole.

Also here is a link with Pics of Hectors falls near by there, I don't know of too many waterfalls in Northwest Pa so its a rare one.

I almost took my lil pull behind camper up there for the night but with all the rain (and mud ) i passed. We intended to get pics of hectors falls but I forgot where the trail was too it until my fuel gauge got too low, we might go back up there next weekend . Its really only about 15 min from my house.

If its day 5 for you, if schedules work out you can let me know and i can bring items to resupply there if need be, I would probably start there and only go for a day or 2. depends on what days through work though.
At the high part of the trail, there is cell coverage but its spotty. Once you get into hearts content (past area cell service will disappear for a while. after you go about 4-5 miles from here. )

I had planned on doing this very stretch of trail this spring/summer myself. I'll throw my hat in the ring as a 'hopefully'.

I'm committed to going to Hamvention in Dayton, OH on the 20th and perhaps 21st, so I might have to meet up with you guys at some point up the trail a bit.

If I've got all my gear built by then, I'm going to do everything in my power to be there.

I am taking a week off on vacation the prior week and so it is very unlikely I will be able to get two straight weeks off in order to join you folks.

I have hiked most of the trail in sections but a week on the trail sounds great!

I can help out with resupply if you like. If you know where you might be on certain days I can run out to join you some where. I am about an hour from most of the road crossings.
