Nope. But I have one of the Down Deluxe ones and can honestly say it is as comfortable to sleep with...as my $5,000 Sleep number mattress.

In fact, most of the time when I travel I sleep on the exped rather than on the mattress/es which are offered. BEWARE: the only negative to the down filled Expeds is that they are fairly heavy.

I already had the Exped Synamt 7 dlx and agree with teh comfort. I went ahead and got the UL as well. Havent used it in the hammock but have played with it on the floor and I like it so far, definitely comfy to lay on and small enough to fit in my water bottle pocket on my pack. Will update how it did in the hammock when I get to go out again.

So I finally got to use the pad in the hammock and it worked just as well as the larger dlx.

It seems kind of narrow...do you add something to it to keep your shoulders warm? ( for instance, eva-foam wings (a segmented pad extender)?)

Our local magazine tested it, quite fragile material, not the same as in normal non-UL matresses. They made puncture tests by dropping sharp object over untill all the matresses broke.

The new Thermarest Neo Air All Season was the winner and got high marks.

I'm a side sleeper so I generally don't touch the side of the hammock. But I think if you are NOT extra wide shouldered you may be ok.

I have the Exped synmat 9, its a great pad. It works very well in your hammock. Only thing is that it's a bit weighty and slightly bulky, but you can't beat it's insullative qualities on those cold days. I used it until I finished my down UQ; But if I knew the weather is going to be extremely cold, I wouldn't hesitiate to take it along with me.
