talked to the ranger girl at pinckney today she says the half moon lake parking lot is open for those that want to shorten the hike.

I am looking forward to this trip coming up. Just got my Guide Gear Tarp on Friday and plan on sewing the extra loops tomorrow. Same weather conditions for me as well. Do you guys use a specific web-site for the weather forecast (ex. accuweather.com or weather.com)?

Agreed... I don't mind rain during the night. I just prefer it being dry during the day.

What is your rock telling you currently?
My question was referring to the fact that each forecast is different on each website. I wanted to make sure I was looking at the same forecast you guys were.
