Having a tarp made in Digital Camo now, but that tree pattern would be great, unless it was summer of course.

I've got a rare Hennessy done in wodland cammo sil-nylon from years ago when Tom was looking at some military/government application or contract. It has held up great and was my go-to tarp on lots of trips over many years. I'm not sure why cammo sil-nylon would be an issue.

I recently found out that one of my favorite non-hammock gear makers, Lightheart Tents, has got a special run of woodland cammo sil-nylon made and has extra to sell for people interested in it.

I have the camo silnylon tarp from Warbonnet Outdoors. One thing I noticed was that rather than hiding our hammocks, the tarp caused them to stand out distinctly. We were camped on the shore of a lake and I was fishing 150 yards away and our hammocks stood out more than many of the non camo tents surrounding the lake. Definitely not a good summer camo. It would probably work better in the fall.

People make cardboard cutouts and use Krylon Spray paint sold at car part stores.

Yes I contacted them - they only sell the whole thing... not the tarp separate.

I just got some woodland cammo sil-nylon from LightHeart Gear. It's 60" x 144". I'm thinking I'll make my son a stealth tarp for his hammock. http://www.lightheartgear.com/index....products_id=46

Around here, that Warbonnet camo tarp would work. Even in summer there are places in the woods with no underbrush.

A hammock tarp with it's straight edges and corners will stick out like a sore thumb regardless of camo pattern. For the camo to be effective you have to disguise that. Also from what I have seen the camo patterns you get on tarps are very repeteive...another give away.

I just finished my cammo tarp project. I think the material is a good deal and seems very waterproof and durable at this point: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=70816
