Thread: Eno Bugnet

    Question Eno Bugnet

So I have the ENO Doublenest and I want to get some sort of a bug net because it can get pretty buggy here in NJ in the Spring and summer time. I've been looking at the ENO Bugnet for $80, but it's 1 lb, I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas for a lighter bugnet, either a DIY one or one I could purchase for the same or less of a ENO Bugnet?

Warbonnet sells a bugnet that's 6 or 7 oz's and Papasmurf on here does a 2 oz bugnet. Think Warbonnets is 65. I have an ENO bugnet to sell for $50 brand new never out of stuff sack if you change your mind on ENO.

Have either of you had use with the warbonnet net?
I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've brought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

Yep. I use it a few times a year, but my girlfriend uses it almost every time she goes out with me. It fits her favorite hammock; Trek Light Double.

If you do get the ENO, google ENO Guardian BugNet. The going rate seems to be $45-55.

Yeah I know, haha. I was looking at the hammocks for my g/f when I was writing the question and mixed up the two numbers. I still don't know if $50 is worth it for a bugnet...

trust me it is.. but go with the warbonnet and you shave a pound off. Actually weighed my ENO bugnet and it was 1lb6oz. You can save a lb getting the warbonnet net, hense why I'm trying to sell mine but I'll probably end up keeping it for my +1 setup
