If you look at the trail map on the third page of this it seems there is a creek running close to the campsite.

I aim to leave Atlanta about dawn, so I'm thinking i'll get there Friday about 1100.

Weather is looking good. Albeit hot. What do you expect though.
Temps for both days in the upper 90's. Lows high 60's. 10-30% chance of rain. Sunday it says scatter T-storms in the area.
Yeah, i'm definitely going to need our help with belaying. Went this morning and bought two harnesses. Taught the girlfriend to belay. Thing is every time I dropped it pulled her off her feet and into the wall. No good. Gonna need someone bigger. Going to get the rope and stoppers later today.

Will be glad to assist anyway I can.........bring some webbing and a figure 8 and we can see if we can rig a ground hardpoint so she can belay you and not be part of the rig!!!!!

That's what the guy at REI said to do.I bought a set of stoppers (tapers), some quick draws, some webbing loops, two different belay devices, a repelling super 8, a ton of carabiners and a 60m rope.
Yeah, I just spent a lot of money. Oh, and 60m of rope is heavy! Who has two thumbs and is super excited for this weekend? THIS GUY!
I just got an email saying my MacCat Deluxe shipped today. Man I hope it gets here before friday, but i really don't think it's going to make it.
