Micro Cord - Any use?

While out shopping today, I stumbled across some Micro Cord for a cheap price. It says it is 1.8mm x 125ft from Atwood Rope MFG, and the website atwoodrope.net briefly states it is braided, and can be used for kites, etc. Has anyone used this stuff before for guylines, etc...

This appears to be the bulk version of what you have and is rated at

• 85 lbs

• 8.5lbs work

Me thinks it might be just a tad light for suspension

Great information - Especially when I picked it up for $2.99 a spool. 85lbs sounds like I could use it for guylines at least - other uses?

bear bag suspension? throw line? fishing? kites? lashing (if you find a bunch of sticks lying around and want to practice those boy scout skills..)?
