hey guys -just wanted to let you know i have a new name.Supertramp served me well for a time but was always confused with the band and had an arrogant tone which is not me at all.the name came from Alexander Supertramp from the book but very few people got it and i totally understand that but it was actually starting to bother me as i am not their biggest fan although i do like some of it.i am in the process of changing my YouTube acct and thought i might as well follow through here - so LinkerTheBushTramp is here -thx

I got the Supertramp connection but it really did not entirely fit because his survival skills seemed not even remotely close to yours. That, however, could ignite a firestorm as there are strong feeling both ways on him (RIP). Welcome Linker etc!

Welcome from another member who changed their name (formerly "odds"). I also got the reference to Chris McCandless (RIP) but it had been years since I read the book so I did not clue in right away. I agree with Brian that your name will be shortened in posts. I'd probably shorten it to BushTramp or Linker if thats OK
