I like what you are doing but I think a ridgeline to limit the distance between the ends of the hammock fabric will flatten your lay some and that may change your optimal pleating and you will have to take a whole new set of photos.
And yes, it seems like you are adding a mini "foot box" to either end and there is nothing wrong with trying that. Looking forward to updates...
What we need is someone with radiology connections to do a lay in front of an X-ray emitter; then we'll know for sure if we're getting a flat lay

Yeah, he probably won't check this. Nift, I was thinking the same, but just wanted to check with him as now 'footboxes' are common. I regularly 'search' my name jut to find posts that I forgot I wrote on. Lets hope he does aswell. Thanks guys.
