hello all,
while not new to hiking / back packing i am new to hanging. last fall did a short 3 day 3 night trip on the superior trail and while doing the last minute gear check at the trail head decided to throw in my eno dn i had sitting in the truck. spent 2 out of the three nights in the hammock and now i'm hooked. since finding this forum and reading all that i can on the different options for insulation i have decided to go the diy route for an underquilt. the question i have is how does one go about sewing darts in climashield??? made myself a poncho liner uq using this thread as a starting point: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=21989
i must say that it worked out great and am now planning to make a climashield underquilt along the same lines but am coming to a dead end when trying to figure out how to "form" the insulation ie: sew the two pieces together without creating a cold spot. also i found this thread but neither dose he say how the darts were sewn together.

can this be done without creating a flat seam and a potential cold spot in the insulation?
