I was planning on doing a decent day hike on Saturday anyway...I can stop by the cars on the way back and stuff whatever in my pack.

Well. I'm all packed, I hope.

I'm back to my old weight of at least 50 Lbs

I am taking WAY too much stuff, but I've never camped in a hammock at the temps expected this weekend so am being paranoid.

So, who is going to the cold weather campout?

So thats 12 "I'll be there" & 5 "Maybe" for a (potental) grand total so far of 17.

Anyone above changing their plans?
Anyone I missed counting?
Anyone else want to join us?

I have never spent that much time in that cold of weather, sounds like fun

I'll be there - planning on camping on the FS side of the foot bridge assuming no-one beats me to "my" trees first.

I checked weather.com for to get an idea of the conditions this weekend:

Friday:
Windy High 33 Low 29

Saturday:
Sunny
High 49

Low 31

Sunday:
Sunny
High 37 Low 20

I know the weather can be really different on the mountain, but it looks like we aren't going to see the brutal cold some were hoping for. Looks like Saturday will be a great day for a hike! I hope I can see the ponies!

yep... i would count on lower temps than that.
i'm going to have a little extra insulation for the time we sit around camp talking (in-active), including not only a sit pad, but a small ccf pad to rest my chilly feet on. ...tim
