What the trigger seems to be is the mummy bag. Having my limbs and head completely snugged in and a stuck zipper makes me panic. It's not so bad until the morning, when I have to pee, the mummy bag is confining, I'm half awake, and the cheap zipper sticks. And then I bust out of the tent and trip over a guy line, and it takes a while to relax.

I'm also swapping black guy lines for neon orange/luminescents. My shins will thank me later.

Home Depot has dayglo yellow mason's line for cheap! Works really good and is bright! One $10 roll should last till my retirement.

Get something with a head hole. for me it means I don't need nearly as much "in camp" insulation, thus saving a whole lot of weight.

a quilt rather than the sleeping bag is much easier to deal with & roomy, especially in a hammock.

and yeah, i like the orange tarp line from speer hammocks. you don't have to walk far away from the tarp until it becomes unnoticeable, but up close, it helps w/ the tripping issues<g>.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
