    Hello from Grand Rapids, MI

I just starting hanging last summer. Been watching you guys on here for about a year now. Seen Shug's videos, and a few others. I figured its time to chime in.

Does anyone know who has the best deal for a full suspension set up using Whoopie Slings?

I've been seriously thinking about making them myself. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, but not real sure where to start.

Really easy to make both...I use 14' of 7/64" Amsteel for each whoopie, you could go longer or shorter...First do the locked brummel then do the sliding loop, together you have a whoopie sling....

Tree straps, pretty straight forward if you have a thread injector...1" Polyester webbing, I use seat beat webbing, fold back about 8" on itself, leave a loop about 2 1/2-3" to first stitch line...I use a zigzag stitch set medium wide with very slow feed through machine... space about 1-1/4" apart min 4 rows 5-6 is better

Check this thread out for locked brummel

Welcome! Jack R Better and Whoopieslings.com both offer complete suspensions IIRC. If you want to try DIY get some amsteel from Arrowhead Equipment and check out some of the DIY vids.

Welcome aboard from another Michigander. Bloom is offering up a pretty good deal there.
