Hello all!! heres my first question so Ill make it count.
Instead of buying a hammock quilt , would my goretex bivy bag from my sleep system work for blocking wind and cold? Ive slept in driving rain , snow and just about any other messy situation that could happen in the feild with this bag and it is awesome!....Ive never used it hanging in a tree though.
Your thoughts on this are much appreciated.

I hope Smee will chime in on this one. I understand his springer Bonnie sleeps with him in his bridge. She was with him at Mt. Rogers.
Gentle raindrops and mighty oceans...neither can exist without the other.
Time heals all wounds...but it usually leaves a pretty big scar.
Here's the picture.
I'm 5'11", 200 lbs. Bonnie's a 35 pound English Springer Spaniel. She sleeps between my legs under the No Sniveller quilt with her head out the head hole of the quilt.
Best night's sleep I've had in the woods have in the BMBH.
Regards,
That is too cool!. I'm sure you keep her nails trimmed!
That picture doesn't show up for me
I am going to be going to a hammock very shortly and have a beagle I need to find sleeping acomidations for. I might get her something different but it would be nice if she could just sleep with me. I am a light sleeper though...so it might now work.
