WBG anounce a couple months ago some of his products will be made in China. They are indicated with an (i) for import.

This has been covered in great detail several times on this forum, which is family friendly, so if you don't mind using your initials in a PM or private email to Warbonnet, that would be nice.

Like the others said, the topic has been discussed to death. Brandon did not hide anything as he was the one who annouced what he was doing (find the thread any read it if you want).

I ordered one of the imported BMJ at XMas and do not regreat it. Top quaility, lighweight and so so very soft but strong. I used it last night in high winds and had to set it in up the dark. Worked as advertised. My only complaint is that I did not have the $$ to order 2 of them.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Yep. I'd agree - its still good quality. I would prefer mine made in USA too but the imported products are good too. My hammock set works just fine and all of it is the imported variety. If they weren't good and didn't pass Brandon's approval he wouldn't put his name on them and sell them.

I think maybe the post was made due to the fact that some international tarps went out even after the site had been switched back to having the domestic version up for sale. As in the tarps weren't tagged (i) at time of ordering and Echo got an (i) anyhow. I say that because it happened to me during the catch up from backorders. The guy was probably working his butt off trying to fulfill the standing orders and made an honest mistake. Just send Brandon an email. He offered to switch mine out when I asked about it, but I don't think I'm bugged enough to make a nuisance of myself. If he says its just as good that's good enough for me.

i just ordered a big mamajamba w/panel pulls tonight and there was no (i) by it, so i assume it will be made in good ole' colorado, can't wait to get it

anybody know if brandons 3 week disclaimer is accurate on back ordered items or is anybody getting their stuff any sooner than that?

i told myself i would be patient and not get too excited, but gotta say "i'm so stoked"

I got my order two weeks to the day. You'd rather get quality than speed

I ordered my door kit for the big mamajamba tarp as a separate order because it was back-ordered and I wanted the hammock and tarp sooner. I think the doors came later than 3 weeks, they arrived Friday. I can't remember when I ordered them. The hammock and tarp took the usual week or so (in-stock at the time of order).
