    S-Biners

Just received my new Phoenix and am testing it out. Does anyone know if the s-biners are different colors for any particular reason? I read on another thread that there are no 'head' or 'tail' ends, so I'm just curious. Thanks

Different colors to tell foot from head, once you learn which one is which. I talked to Adam, when I got my 3s Incubator. He asked me about the colors- mine were the same, he said they were supposed to be different and apologized. No big deal, I just picked up one myself.

Didn't read your post fully- I don't know if the phoenix has a foot and head end.

There IS a "head" end and a "foot" end to the Incubator. The "head" end is just a bit wider. On both of my Incubators, the head end is the end with the knot in the suspension.

You are correct, but the OP has a Phoenix not an Incubator. I posted thinking about the Incubator, then was reading after I posted, and realized he had the Phoenix.

Thanks Roadrunnr, that's what I was thinking; once I dial it in, I'll know which end is which. Pretty thoughtful feature!

OOOPS. I haven't looked close enough to my Pheonix to know. I'd guess the knot end is the head end on it too. Dang it.

Double check though. My incubator has knot at the foot end.

I know the Incubator has a foot and head end but I dont believe that the Phoenix does. The two ends are interchangeable and is the same width on both ends (well at least on mine it is maybe yours is different?) So if your using the Phoenix it does not matter which end is which.
