    Hey Mark,

Congrats on making the landmark retirement! Kudo's for the many years of service you put in keeping the bad guys ander control and helping those others who were in need. Must be a rewarding feeling.

    Now it's time to ride!!

You sound a bit over eager Shug. I have never been much of a baton guy though...hands on is so much more fun. How about a nice twist lock moving into the carotid hold? Nah better yet share some tri-tip and a frosty adult beverage?

The plan is to get past the workman's comp purgatory and focus on becoming a real regular person (or as close to it as I can get). To be able to go out for dinner and sit with my back to the door. So the "enforcer" must be retired as well. Made a big step yesterday by going to Costco without my side arm (no small thing actually).
Mark is the name and If there is more than one way to understand what I just said....I meant the good one.

thanks for your service, and glad you are enjoying life!
(not sure the door thing ever wears off, though...couple friends of mine still get twitchy years later if 'back to the entry' is the only available seat)
