    whats your view?

    post the best view you have from your hammock...so far i've only been out once and usually im just hanging in my backyard

    Back in January I set up on the side of the hill near Blackburn Trail Center, just off the AT in VA. I had my tarp in porch mode and looked out over the valley. With no leaves on the trees, I had an awesome view. Twinkling stars above, and house lights below. You can see a long way from this spot.

    I'm heading back there this Friday. There's a chance of rain or thunderstorms, but I hope it's clear enough to get some good pics. This has been my favorite hang spot so far, and I'm looking forward to revisiting it.

    I loved how we accidentally captured the demon/goblin who was in the left side of our bonfire!













    Many of the previous shots were taken from either the 1st hang location in 1st pic above, or on an earlier trip from this spot below. Where you can see I still had a lot to learn about hanging hammocks and tarps!
