Someone to take pop cans and plastic bottles to recycling center. (Yes, the MAHHA recycles and it is Earth Week this time!) - charley

    In addition:
buns, plastic spoons knives and forks - sweetbabyd

Now, there are a few more things that we need (that I can think of)

Does anyone know of a good place to purchase burgers, dogs, and veggie burgers that is not too far from the park?
Is someone willing to purchase them who has a large cooler for transport? You will be completely compensated by HF.
We also need cheese and maybe some other condiments like A-1 sauce, salsa, etc.
    And paper towels.
Thank you one and all for your help with this! You all are living proof of what a great gang of people we have here at Hammock Forums!
buns, drinks, plastic ware - got it. i have a head count from the polls. thanks so much, it will be so nice to meet everyone.

Thanks everyone for all the help! This is great!

Still looking for someone to volunteer on the hot dogs. veggie burgers, and hamburger meat who has a big cooler. You will be reimbursed for the cost. I'm on a prehike before the event, but if this isn't convenient for anyone, I'll run out and pick up meat on Saturday.

I can get all 3. Just have a backup plan as medical
    issues could cancel me out.

Traveler! Thanks so much. I'll give you the chore of the meats since I know Oh-No's back has been a serious issue for him over the past year. We'll give you a count closer to the event! Sausage is good too!

Oh-No, if you can pick up the veggie burgers that would be a help and if something happens, we'll get it covered by someone else.

Do you all meet in Pine Grove every year around this time? I just joined the forum and noticed this is going to be in Pine Grove. I will be in the area that weekend testing out some new gear with some friends. Perhaps we can swing by on Saturday....my one friend also has a hammock. I am sure we could pick up a lot of useful information since I am new to hammocks.

    Exclamation

After much plotting and scheming amongst the food organizers, we've decided to try something new in order to reflect the values of Earth Day.

We would like everyone to supply their own washable (read: non-disposable) eating utensils for the potluck and for the pancake breakfast. This includes plates, cups, forks, everything. We figure that this shouldn't be a big problem as pretty much everyone brings their own mess kit anyway.

We will have dish washing facilities available so that folks can square away their dirty dishes immediately after use.

That's right, you gram counters! We're bringing everything and the kitchen sink to a camping event.
