I just found out that possibly this summer my scout group might not get a site with trees at the pacific jamboree this year so i was wondering if i could use 2 Byer Madera stands on each end it says on the website that it was made for when only one sturdy attachement point could be found if you have any thoughts on the subject or a better alternatif it would be great

Depending on the amount of space you get and the number of hammocks you need to hang you could try this multiple hammock stand that Dejoha came up with. This stand will accommodate 3 hammocks but requires a 14' radius hexagon area to setup.

Hey a good scout, could build something that would work thanks for helping me out with what hammock to get, but I will be in a tent for this week

It's possible if you stake out properly and securely. I recall seeing some pics of hammocks set up with only one piece of wood on each end of the hammock. IIRC I even saw one set up with a crutch at each end. Do a search for treeless hammock set ups and you should see some ideas.
