building a bug net out of a bug net

I recently got a military bug net for seven dollars. I really want to make it into a zippered bug net to fit my GT ultra light. something similar to how the HH is styled. This will be my first project of this kind. just looking to see if anyone has done a similar conversion. Im not sure about slicing this net all the way up without a good plan. any ideas?

Take a look at the sticky's for HC4U's DIY Hennesey hammock, and the other thread on the DIY WBBB. They'll both give you some ideas...
