    Big Thanks!

I've dealt with quite a few of the cottage shops since getting into hammocks, and I've got to put Darby and
Smithobx high up on my list of good guys.

I peppered these guys with questions before purchasing my Light Hiker (always received quick responses)... I wished, hoped, and begged for a 1.1 dbl SwitchBack... I peppered them with more questions (still with quick responses)...

When I ordered my 1.1 dbl SwitchBack, I asked Darby if I could get a set of 8' straps instead of the stock 6' straps. "No Problem!" was his response. (TtTTG makes the best straps I've seen so far.)

I took delivery of a beautiful new 1.1 dbl SB this last Monday, and before I had even opened up the box, I had a PM from Dale (Darby) telling me he had forgotten the 8' straps and shipped 6' straps, and that the 8' straps would be in the mail the next day.

I asked to pay for the extra set of straps... I still want to. "No way!" was his response.

I took delivery of a set of 8' straps yesterday.

These guys build GREAT gear. These guys love to talk about their gear and hammocks. These guys take care of their customers. I just wanted to say a big public THANK YOU to TtTTG.

Have a 1.9 dl coming my way (via good ol' Illinois) and I am totally excited. wish I had thought of the larger 8' straps like Shane. We have some big tree down here!

fwiw I use 12' straps and I've had occasion to worry those wouldn't make it. Ran into some massive oaks that I wasn't sure I'd be able to hang between and I barely made it.

Just to reiterate, I could agree with the sentiments in the OP. Darby and crew got it together and are top of my list. Craftsmanship is second to none!
