    A recent moto hang trip showed that I really needed a smaller stuffing TQ and UQ for my small(ish) side cases. So then the Incubator/Burrow order. Just a question;

    Are the order numbers reset to zero at the first of the year? Hope it isn't weekly.

    Congrats Law Dawg, you're gonna be a quilt conessouer before too long I don't like spendin' lots of money on gear, HGUQ/TQ are the only real pieces of gear I splurged for since sleeping warm is a MUST for me.. can't regret it AT ALL.. even used my TQ on the couch a couple times, I'd use it everyday if I didn't want to have to wash it as often, haha. You're gonna love'em, but you already knew that

    For space reasons alone I gave that UQ much thought too. HG offers some well respected products and, like the other cottage vendors here, good customer service. I don't need a CCF pad for aluminum paniers and so the full length just makes more sense. Plus the full length made the vendor choice easier. I ain't lugging it on my back and so comfort rules (right after available space).

    What will your total weight average be? ...just to hijack my own thread.

    My wife and I packed the local Sierras quite a bit, back in the day (think 35+ years ago). I gave her the light load, 40 to 50 lbs, and I carried up to 80 myself. The concept of a 20 lb pack just intrigues and the ultra light types are stunning to me.

    So wife approval; my bride has been my best outdoors companion for a VERY long time. The idea of getting out for our first hang together is...well, it makes me all warm and fuzzy.
