Swedish hammock noob sayin; Hi Everyone!

I´ve been campin most of my life. In a tent that is.
Recently I was looking for a one man camping solution, tent / bivi /etc. and stumbled on to hammocks.
Since then i have made a DIY prototype hammock and tarp.
I love making my own gear, learning from this forum, numerous youtube clips and my own experience of what works and not. And can't wait to get out and try it out for real.
Already, I've been telling my camping friends about hammocks and this forum.

Sweden is a perfect country for us camping freaks since it is a constitutional right here called "Every Man's Right". This lets everyone (Swedish citizen or not), for free, explore nature, to sleep outdoors, and to eat wild berries and things wherever one my find them irregardless of who own's the land as long as it's not on anyones backyard (translation: I can set up camp right next to your backyard fence even if you own the land I'm on.) I love this country! Feel free to visit!

A friend of mine has a girlfriend from somewhere in the south of sweden. From what he has described its a camper's/hiker's/woodsman's/bushcraft enthusiast's/paddler's/hanger's paradise. I've potentially got a post uni trip for 2012 out there, can't wait.

    Forgot to mention: Welcome!
